Jannah Sellars

Jannah is a California Bay Area native currently residing in Chicago where she is completing her Master of Arts degree in Art Therapy and Counseling at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. With a BA degree from Zaytuna College in Islamic Studies and Liberal Arts, Jannah’s interests lie in cultivating the intersection between art, spirituality, and healing with a focus on community care and activism. She has been an Islamic Studies teacher for several years and has extensive experience in community service, organizing, and youth work. Jannah hopes to continue her education and career as an art therapist to serve and work with underserved populations through the healing power of art. When she’s not working or studying, Jannah enjoys coffee shop hopping, walking along Chicago’s lakefront, and cooking fun new recipes.
